Our diverse distribution business offers a range of Sales, Marketing and Relationship Management roles. If you’re an ambitious student seeking an accelerated career path at Fidelity, the Business Management Programme could be the perfect fit for you.
What we do
The Global Workplace and Personal Investing business ensures that we bring our global scale and knowledge together so that we connect our distribution businesses globally, while remaining sensitive to regional and local requirements.
How you’ll spend your time
You’ll have the opportunity to build a strong professional network with senior management across the organisation as you work on high profile change and transformation projects.
You’ll receive dedicated mentoring and coaching from senior colleagues which will challenge you to think differently and learn more about the asset management industry and the wider business.
During the summer, you’ll be work in one of the businesses below:
- Workplace Investing: Working strategically to extend our footprint into new markets, developing new customer delivery models, driving efficiencies in our operating models for existing markets.
- Personal Investing: Supporting and guiding our clients to achieve their financial goals.
- COO - Business Change: Identifying and implementing quality change with strong risk management.

Build networks
You will have the ability to build your network with individuals from a range of business cultures and backgrounds.
Confident and articulate
You must be confident, enthusiastic and articulate enough to shine in front of clients, particularly when presenting.
Penultimate year
You will need to be in the penultimate year of your degree, graduating in 2023 and available to complete 10 weeks of full-time work this coming summer (exact dates are still TBC).
Learning & Development
You will be highly valued here and your development is heavily invested in from day one and throughout your program me.

Our initial online application form is a quick and easy process designed to take as little time as possible, so you can get on to the immersive testing and interview stages - where you can really show who you are.
You will need to:

Our online testing uses a fun neuroscience-based test to help you show off your best traits. When you submit your application form you will be automatically invited to complete our online assessment within 5 days (please check you spam/junk mail folder for the invite).
The next stage of our application process is either a face-to-face or Zoom interview, depending on your location. The questions you’ll be asked here are a combination of motivational and strengths-based questions and give us a chance to understand what you enjoy and what areas of the role fuel your enthusiasm. It’s best not to over-prepare for these as we want you to be yourself and feel relaxed. Remember to think about specific examples of when you’ve demonstrated your strengths so that we can get a clear view of who you are a person.
