What we do

Human Resources

The Human Resources department supports the business to ensure the effective management and development of the talent in our organisation. It involves having oversight of all aspects of human capital management, which includes a number of areas of expertise working together collaboratively - talent acquisition, talent management and development, reward and benefits, employee relations and organisation development, which in turn are supported by our HR Shared Services and HR Information Systems Teams.

Communications

Developing and maintaining good relationships with the media, customers and stakeholders in all the countries we operate in is essential to protect and build Fidelity International's overall reputation. Communications can take many forms and includes: media and public relations, corporate messaging and crisis communication.

How you’ll spend your time

Over your two-year apprenticeship programme, you'll be based in our Surrey office. Depending on the team you join, you will get exposure in different aspects of human resources and communications.
 

  • Employee Experience
    You will work with colleagues across the organisation and support our people agenda.
  • Training
    You will be on an apprenticeship standard relevant to your role. At every stage, your development will be underpinned by the best training and professional certified courses with the aim of employing you full-time once you have completed your apprenticeship qualification.

Academic Record

You will need at least five GCSEs between 9-4 (or A*-C), two of which we prefer to be English and maths.

We like candidates with multiple skillsets, which is why the recruitment process will look to have assessments and questions that will aim to highlight your work ethic, personality and potential.

Here you will be asked to rank several potential responses to some scenarios based on what you are likely to experience at Fidelity. When you submit your application form you will be automatically invited to complete our on-line assessment within 5 days. (Please check you spam/junk mail folder for the invite.

Ahead of the assessment centre, you’ll have a coaching call with us to discuss your motivations for applying, to explain the next steps in the process, and to answer any questions you may have regarding the programme or Fidelity.

During the assessment, you will be involved in a mix exercises and assessments related to the role you are applying to.

The day is also a great chance for you to meet different members of the team here at Fidelity and ask any questions you have about the business - this day is as much about you making sure Fidelity is the right place for you as it is about us assessing your strengths.
