Internships

Develop your skills over the course of a summer internship and gain valuable experience in the asset management industry. You’ll also have the chance to potentially earn yourself a place on one of our graduate programmes. Here, we tell you about the business areas we offer internships in.

What will I be doing?

At Fidelity we offer a generic Technology internship, as well as two other technology internships working with the Investment Management and Global IM Systems teams. If successful, you will be assigned to one of these programmes.

Collaborative innovation between Technology and Businesses is essential to the continuing growth of our business. The aim of this program is to expose you to technology and a range of businesses, such as digital, markets, channels, products and marketing. We will give you the support and guidance you need to focus all your attention on building your skills, knowledge and network. 

In this program you will explore alternate data sources to help generate alpha for the investment analysis and portfolio management teams. This will include the use of Al and machine learning, the building of collaboration tools and analysis of market data. 

This role will provide technical and solutions support for the research programme in multiple innovation projects. Some of  the projects aim to optimise and simplify the current research applications by adding new, more efficient and comprehensive technologies to the stack. Others aim to use the data we have in a more innovative way and potentially use in a new way, delivering additional business value.
