Are there opportunities to move internally within Fidelity after I join?
We recognise that career growth is enhanced through internal mobility. At the same time, when you can move internally will depend on the programme you join. Some will have rotations across the business built into them and others will require you to remain with your team for the duration of the programme. Always talk to your line manager or the Early Careers Team about your interest in other teams.

What type of contract will I receive?
The type of contract you receive is determined by the type of programme you have.
- Apprentices: 2-year fixed term contract
- Interns: 10-12-week fixed term contract
- Industrial placements: 12-month fixed term contract
- Graduates: permanent employment contract

Who is Fidelity's CEO?
Anne Richards is our Chief Executive Officer. Anne has worked in the asset management industry since 1992. She has two decades of experience as an analyst, portfolio manager and CIO. Anne is a Chartered Engineer and began her career as a research fellow at CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research. She is a former chair of the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s Practitioner Panel and is also a member of the US-based Board of Leaders of 2020 Women on Boards, which works to increase the proportion of women on corporate boards. In 2014, Anne was publicly recognised in the UK for her services to the voluntary sector and to the Financial Services industry by being appointed a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2015.
What are you looking for in candidates?
We like to see your interest in Fidelity, the Asset Management industry and your chosen business area. Strong candidates will be prepared and have done their research, reading widely (beyond our recruitment website) and show a genuine enthusiasm for this opportunity. We want to know what drives and motivates you in life, so don't be afraid to express yourself.
What should I do if I receive an offer from another company?
Let us know your situation and any deadline for accepting the other offer. Don't be scared to ask the other company to extend the deadline, just be honest with all parties involved. It is important you make an informed decision about your career and what is right for you.
